Presbyterian Women of Woodburn is a major organization in the Woodburn Presbyterian Church.  Each woman member of the church is a member of Presbyterian Women.  It is our hope that each woman will participate in the many programs sponsored by Presbyterian Women.  The monthly Circle meetings offer opportunity to get to know other church members and share Bible study and fellowship.  Mission programs benefit hurting women and children here and around the world.  Opportunities for service and participation include helping with flowers for the sanctuary, visiting sick and shut-in members, preparing meals for bereaved families, help maintain a food pantry, hosting special occasions in the church, such as a holiday breakfast and Christmas bazaar.  Other projects include supporting Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox gifts, adopting 25 needy children from the local elementary school, collecting blankets/coats for the homeless, collecting Bibles for the Prison Ministry and collecting soup labels for education for the Barium Springs Home for Children.  Many other projects are sponsored through the year offering opportunity for everyone to be involved.
